The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (“the Commission”) has issued Guidelines on Licensing Procedure of INTERNET PROTOCOL TELEPHONY SERVICE PROVIDER LICENSE (IPTSP) envisaged in the Licensing (Procedure) Regulations, 2004. License under the Guidelines will be issued by the Commission under the open licensing procedure. Subject to the provisions of Section 36 of Bangladesh Telecommunication Act, 2001 an applicant who fulfils the conditions may apply to the Commission for IPTSP License in prescribed form with necessary documents until and unless the Commission directs otherwise. Please note that these Guidelines may be withdrawn, revised, updated or amended by the Commission from time to time, without any prior notice.
