Eng. Md. Rezaul Quader joined BTRC as Commissioner on 16 October 2017. He possesses 32 years of experience in the field of telecommunications in different levels. From 2010 to 2011, he acted as the Director General at BTRC and after retirement, continued his contribution towards the Commission for a further year as a Senior Consultant.  Before that, he worked in the capacity of Commission Secretary and Director (in 03 different divisions-Systems & Services, Legal & Licensing, Administration) at BTRC for 09 years. Till his retirement, he served as the focal point of BTRC in communication with International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) and Commonwealth Telecommunication Organization (CTO). Eng. Quader was graduated from Chittagong Engineering College, Chittagong (now CUET) in 1979 with a B.Sc in Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. He obtained his post-graduate diploma in Industrial Management from Bangladesh Management Development Centre, Dhaka (BMDC, now BIM) in 1993. He served as a lecturer at Chittagong Engineering College in 1982 before joining Telephone Shilpa Sangstha (TSS) and left TSS as Senior Engineer. Before joining BTRC at its formation in 2002, he worked as a Consultant at the Telecom Regulatory Board (TRB) Project of the Ministry of Posts & Telecommunications (MoPT). As a professional, Eng. Quader obtained training  from a number of prestigious institutions, including Siemens (Germany), Alcatel (France), JICA (Japan), ACA (Australia), YRP (Japan), KORPA (Rep. of Korea), TCI (USA), IPM (Dhaka), CDS (Dhaka), PDA (Dhaka) etc.
